It’s an alcohol/drug-free party put on by some sober pals that want to provide a quality clubbing space for people who don’t drink or who are trying to cut down. Our parties are attended by folk of all ages, genders, sexualities, religions and ethnicities – it’s an open invitation event but has the feel of an intimate house party.
A lot of the people that come to Good Clean Fun are sober and in recovery but many who come along are people who are thinking about cutting down or are usually drinkers but just fancy a night off it for a change. Everyone is welcome regardless of your current relationship with alcohol etc.
Good Clean Fun is a totally clean space, but all those who are curious about the party and about developing a healthier relationship with alcohol and drugs are very welcome 🙂
We have an open-minded music policy. Our resident Amy Rodgers of The Queer History of Dance Music will play anything that is good to dance to but tends to go for a groovier, funkier, spiritual, jazzier and melodic sound (also enjoying the occasional fun and poppy banger). You can check out a sample playlist on Spotify here.

We have a wide variety of soft drinks like kombucha, ginger beer, cloudy lemonade, iced tea, coffee, coke etc.
We also serve a hot dish made by local food providers – we mix it up each time but it’s always fresh and we have vegan-friendly options.
A lot of things came together gradually over time. Check out our about us page for more on this…
Our most asked question! We’ve had folk come along dressed very fancy and folk come along dressed very casual…
Wear what you feel best in; everyone has always looked great!
We’re really starting to build a bit of a community now which is really nice but nope, not everyone knows each other.
Quite a lot of people come on their own (which we love) and have said that they felt welcomed and relaxed, which we also love. If you’re wanting to come but a bit nervous about it drop us a shout on Instagram or email and we’ll keep an eye out for you arriving. We usually do a dance/meditation/sound bath workshop during the first hour, which is a great opportunity to get chatting to folk.
Most of our parties take place at Garnethill Multicultural Centre. This is a lovely spacious room with high ceilings and wooden dancing floor. It also has strong ties to the recovery community in Glasgow.
We usually have between 50-150 folk attending the parties over the course of the night. The parties start and finish a lot earlier than a typical Glasgow club night and we warmly encourage people to come down for the beginning and stay the full night to make the most of it.
